POSITION  Business Development Executive

SALARY - 18K + Commission

LOCATION - Head Office Southend (some travel maybe required)

RESPONSIBLE FOR  New Business Development & Development of Current Activities

PURPOSE

  • In this role you are required to generate and develop new business opportunities whilst managing the day-to-day activities associated with current accounts - looking for growth opportunities wherever possible.

REQUIREMENTS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • A basic understanding of the Mobile sector
  • Self-Motivation & Personal Initiative is critical in this role
  • Presentation & Communication skills
  • Responsible for development of new business opportunities
  • Creation & Ownership of business presentations
  • Relationship management and growth of existing accounts
  • P&L responsibilities on specified business units
  • Personal P&L tracking

DEFINITION OF KEY TASKS

  • Identify & develop new leads and general business opportunities in all business units – Gadget Repair Solutions consist of device repair, wholesale handset trading, D2C handset sales, device remanufacturing and handset / component reclamation 
  • Manage and develop existing customers and accounts to enable to business to actualise the full potential of each revenue stream 
  • Scope new potential avenues / channels for the business to diversify into 
  • Ensure P&L and business development related targets are set and delivered upon month-on-month 
  • Create and manage a personal development plan to ensure key deliverables are set and executed monthly, quarterly & annually 
  • Create and modify any client facing presentations and business process documentation in preparation for sales pitches and customer review meetings. 
  • Prepare weekly sales updates to be circulated amongst the management team. 
  • Prepare & Deliver monthly & quarterly progress updates - Presented to the Board 
  • Create continuous commercial improvement mechanisms to ensure performance is maximised at all times

POSITION  Mobile/Gadget Repair Engineer

LOCATION - Head Office Southend 

RESPONSIBLE FOR  Mobile Repair/Remanufacture

PURPOSE

  • To repair/remanufacture/servicing of mobile telecommunications equipment/gadgets.

REQUIREMENTS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Accountable for accurate repair and meeting section and workshop targets.
  • Accountable for accurate repair/refurbishment and meeting individual targets as instructed. 
  • Responsible for repairing/refurbishing of mobile telecommunications equipment/gadgets. 
  • To work in accordance with your key indicators as instructed. 
  • Responsible for stock entrusted to you and its allocation

DEFINITION OF KEY TASKS

  • To have overall responsibility for the health and safety of yourself and ensure that the standards laid down in the company’s health and safety manuals and both understood and communicated where necessary.
  • To repair mobile telecommunications equipment/gadgets to a standard to pass all quality control checks. 
  • To maintain a repair to BER ration as instructed. 
  • To have Quality Control failure rate less than 3% 
  • To have a return rate to less than 5%. 
  • To respect the regulations to create a good working environment. 
  • To assist in other areas of the business as and when required or directed to do so by the General Manager. 
  • To deal with all telephone queries efficiently and professionally at all times. 
  • To ensure that the Workshop is kept tidy and clean at all times when possible and to constantly monitor the general look of the Workshop. 
  • Not to contribute to or initiate conversation of complaints or dislikes outside of the communication structure provided, where formal attention can be afforded to your concerns. 
  • To maintain the general tidiness and cleanliness of my working area and join the rest of the team in maintaining the same standard in all areas. 
  • To participate in meetings as and when required to ensure two way communication flows freely, communicate any issues/problems. 
  • To take responsibility for my performance and ensure that it conforms to the expectations of the company. 
  • To contribute to the development of the Workshop by advising Senior Team of particular need, and new ideas which may improve the day to day running of the Workshop/business.
